Colasanti Farms
In the 1960's, Colasanti Farms was heavy into production of Greenhouse Pink Tomatoes. The majority of the production was shipped to Quebec. By the year 1965 a transition towards Seedless Cucumber began. A major switch towards tropical plants began in the early 1970's, creating the now famous name "Colasanti Tropical Gardens"
Colasanti Farms is still family owned and operated by Alex Colasanti's oldest son Joe, and his family. Today it is one of Southern Ontario's most renowned tourist attractions. It has become an entertainment farm which has a fantastic restaurant, a miniature golf course, reception facilities, a mini zoo, plenty of shopping and a great place to kick back and spend a fun filled weekend.
